Paradox Interactive announced today that Hearts of Irons 2, a "grand strategy game depicting World War 2 in a real-time environment", has shipped to retail stores all over North America and has a SRP of $39.99. The game offers a redesigned map and interface, updated battle mechanics, re-worked technology tree, fine-tuned diplomacy and trade system, co-operative multiplayer and, apart from the four major campaigns, battle scenarios optimized for one or two evenings of gaming, as well as different multiplayer settings.
