Ubisoft sent us five
screenshots from the PS2 version of
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, the next chapter of the series which will feature new missions, co-op and versus multiplayer modes. Taken from the Hokkaido and Cargoship levels, the screens showcase the richness of color, sophisticated lighting and shadow effects, and the intricacy of the environments players of the PS2 version will enjoy – as well as some of Sam Fisher’s cool new stealth moves, as he operates closer to the enemy than ever before. Chaos Theory is in the works at Ubisoft Montreal Studio, the creators of the first game (the PC version of
Pandora Tommorow was developed by Ubisoft Shanghai & Annecy Studios). The game will be released for PC, Xbox, GC and PS2 in March 2005 (the Xbox and PC were previously set for Christmas 2004, while GC, PS2 were slated for a Q1 release).
