Since the discovery of ancient texts illustrating how to tame mektoubs for riding the techniques have since been tried and tested and are now being released across the newfound lands. The mektoubs can be purchased from stable boys who will also provide you with the necessary fodder. The mektoubs can walk an empty stomach, but they need food in order to gallop - you can store the food rations in their inventory.
