Chronic Logic today announced that Gish, a 2D side scroller where you play a funny character with a gelatinous tar body, had been selected as the top title of the Independent Games Festival. Gish received awards for innovation in game design and the grand prize, a $15,000 Seumas McNally Grand Prize. Game development teams competed for more than $40,000 in cash prizes.
