Gameindustry.biz today stated that a second offer has been made for Eidos, SCi announcing they will be willing to pay 53.6 pence per share. If the offer will be accepted, SCi will become the largest publisher in the UK and that's why Jane Cavanagh, SCi's chief executive, said that "this is an excellent opportunity for both Eidos and SCi shareholders to invest in a major computer games publisher at a time when the global market has never been bigger".
