Groove Games has released a new patch for Combat: Task Force 121, bringing to v1.02 this modern military shooter powered by Unreal 2 engine and developed by Direct Action Games, the company founded by the creators of the Spec Ops series. The update makes the dedicated server more stable and adds 3D and EAX support to the Audio menu. In this game, players step in the role of a covert unit of Navy Seals, Green Berets, Army Rangers and USMC Recon personnel, dealing with a group of terrorists. The game offers 10 single-player missions, and weapons including: M4 Assault Rifle, M203 Grenade Launcher, MK43 7.62 Machinegun and a .50 Cal Tactical Sniper Rifle, and a variety of environments including dense jungle, a shanty town, an oil rig, a refinery plant and an exotic island. The multiplayer mode supports up to 16 other players via Xbox Live and includes 8 game types, 13 maps, 2 and 4 player split screens and Al bots for offline practice.
