The DS version of Need for Speed Underground 2, the game released in November last year for PC, PS2, Xbox, GC and GBA, has shipped to retail stores and has an MSRP of $39.99, Electronic Arts announced. Utilizing the handheld's touch screen technology, gamers can create their own custom vinyl designs in the Design Studio and apply them to the car for a unique tuner racing look. Players can also manage their nitrous usage during a race by using the touch-sensitive panel to control the power of their boost. Need for Speed Underground 2 for the Nintendo DS supports four players via the wireless link - the game was developed by EA Canada.
