Bethesda Softworks sent out a press release announcing plans to release a sequel to its Pirates of the Caribbean video game based on Walt Disney Pictures’ blockbuster film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow will features a dozen locations, with fully interactive levels and varied gameplay, new moves and combos and more. Developed in association with 7 Studios, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow is slated for a 2006 release in 2006, for PC, Xbox and PS2 and will be distributed under license from Buena Vista Games, Inc..
