The concept behind MSXPLAYer resembles the idea behind an MP3 player
The Dutch company Bazix announced they are developing MSXPLAYer, an advanced emulator with which popular games from the 1980s and 1990s can be enjoyed once again on Symbian Series 60 mobile phones. MSX games are very small, making it possible to install hundreds of games on a standard mobile phone with a capacity of 32MB. MSXPLAYer is already available for Windows and Pocket PCs, while MSXPLAYers for mobile phones, Linux, Mac OS and several game consoles (Xbox, Playstation 2) are currently being developed as well. These MSXPLAYers are expected to be introduced on the European market by Bazix during 2005 and 2006. Press 'read more' for details.
