Six screenshots from The Darkness have been inserted in our gallery, illustrating the video game adaptation of the popular Top Cow comic book series in the works at Starbreeze, the development studio behind The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Knights of the Temple and Enclave. The main character of the game is Jackie Estacado, a fearless Mafia hitman for the Franchetti crime family who is suddenly possessed by the terrifying and spectacular powers of The Darkness. Throughout the game, players must learn to control and harness The Darkness power in order to overthrow the vicious mob boss and fulfill their destiny. The Darkness is scheduled for release in 2006 - the E3 2005 movie is located here.
