Atari has released a new patch for Act of War: Direct Action, upgrading the geopolitical techno-thriller developed by Eugen Systems to v1.05 (thanks: 3DGamers). The update adds new maps, various gameplay tweaks and bugfixes (press 'read more' for changelog). Don't forget to check out the single-player demo taken from the game's level six mission set in Egypt, entitled "Falling Hawk". The multiplayer demo can also be found in our download area, featuring two maps (Fistful of Sand - 2 players and The Last Battlefield - 4 players), three different A.I. difficulty levels, options for team-play and Free-for-All with any configuaration of human and A.I-controlled players, skirmish mode against up to three A.I's, and multiplayer (Internet/LAN) for up to four players.
