Codemasters today announced they will launch Heroes of the Pacific in September and to mark this event they released new screenshots from the PC and PlayStation 2 versions of the game, along with a small trailer. Heroes of the Pacific is a flight-sim in the works at IR Gurus. The game features airborne battles with up to an awesome 150 planes in the sky at one time and some models are made of as many as 15,000 polygons, in addition to realistic and dynamic 3D water effects. There is a split-screen multiplayer mode as well as an online one for up to 8 players across all formats. Check the press release for more details and press read more to download the new movie.
