EA and Viacom Consumer Products creating game based on The Godfather fiction
The Godfather, the game revealed by Warren Jensen at Bear-Stearns 17th Annual Media, Entertainment and Information Conference, is set for worldwide launch in early 2006, for PC, Xbox, PS2, Electronic Arts announced. Developed by EA and based on the book by Mario Puzo and the classic film by Paramount Pictures through a licensing relationship with Viacom Consumer Products, EA's The Godfather features a GTA style city where players can explore and accomplish missions. The game will offer players countless choices for solving the family's problems with violence, skillful diplomacy, or a cunning mixture of both.
