GMX Media and Cornered Rat Software announced that the official Battleground Europe website has been launched, offering screenshots and info on this MMOG scheduled for release across Europe on August 26th 2005. The game world of Battleground Europe is set in the years 1940 through 1942 and includes Belgium, Luxembourg and parts of Holland, Germany, France and England, with the current game map measuring over 354,000 square miles and featuring more than 36,000 strategic objects such as factories, city buildings, bunkers and bridges placed among 4,000+ facilities in 450 cities and towns. Battleground Europe will be published in the US by Tri Synergy on September 1st 2005.
