Romanian developer 2 Bad Design announced they are working on Cotropitorii, a 3rd person action shooter game with a single-player campaign which takes place in an alternative universe: Nicolae Ceausecu isn't dead and he's attacking the United States. The Deathmatch mode will support up to 32 players, via LAN or Internet. The game soundtrack will feature themed Romanian songs from the Ceausescu era, adding to the overall feeling. Also, video footage with Ceausescu will be included to enhance the atmosphere and setting of the game. Cotropitorii is a free game and is scheduled for an October 2005 release.
