Metro3D, Inc. announced today it will introduce Smash Cars for PS2, now on display at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles. Scheduled for release in Q1 2003, Smash Cars is a no rules radio-controlled arcade-style racing game developed by Creat Studio, LLC. In the game, "Smash Cars drivers steer remote-control cars in a high-speed race where daily life is in full swing with giant objects and people interacting with and hindering the path of your tiny car". In the game, Smash Cars drivers steer remote-control cars in a high-speed race where daily life is in full swing with giant objects and people interacting with and hindering the path of your tiny car. Don't drop the hammer too fast or people, animals, cars and a variety of other real-world obstacles may spin you into trouble. A one- or two-player game, Smash Cars provides special control features including power boosts, jumps, and the most realistic physics for enhanced driving action. The game'simpressive interactive environments and visual effects make game playing even more real featuring waves on the beach, engine smoke, dust, splashing water and more. For an extra challenge, players can run through special shortcuts or enter the Championship Mode, which allows players to upgrade with prize money and unlock new racing tracks.
