Headfirst today announced that they are willing to enter into negotiations for the rights to publish Call of Cthulhu – Destiny's End, which should be released by mid 2006. The story takes place nearly 80 years after the destruction of the mysterious town of Innsmouth by a government raid in 1928 - the two central characters, Emily and Jacob, return to search for the truth as they unveil the horrors of the town's past. Both characters can be played by two players in the same which will have at their disposal co-operative fighting combos. The first title of the series, Call of Cthulhu - Dark Corners of the Earth is now ready to ship, but unfortunately, the press release does not mention a release date and whether there will be a PC version or not.
