A new Battlefield: Modern Combat movie has been added in our download area, offering new footage from this new Battlefield title in the works at Digital Illusions, which will be released later this year, for the PS2 and Xbox, under the EA GAMES brand. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat takes place on the modern battlefields of the world, and allows players to fight for one of three military superpowers: the United States, the Chinese, or a newly formed Middle East Coalition. Players can choose from over 30 different vehicles, 70 weapons and communicate with one another in real time via USB headset. The game will feature a single-player mode, new maps and a multiplayer mode up to 24 players which will require a broadband connection, memory card and network adaptor for PlayStation2 console owners and a subscription to Xbox Live for Xbox owners.
