The Star and the Crescent is now shipping worldwide and retails for $44.95. The Star and the Crescent is the next chapter in the hyper-realistic ATF series of games, focusing on the Arab-Israeli conflicts of the past decades, along with a look at possible future conflicts in the region. New features to the ATF engine include individual buildings and defensive structures, a refined bursting direct fire model, refined iron bomb effects, and all the upgrades to the ATF engine found in the most recent patches. Highlights include the elimination of the DirectDraw issue, direct fire suppression now reflecting the percent kill odds, suppression radius, and target protection value, and more.
