     Writers Wanted:
     We need writers willing to do editorials (Xbox 360 vs PS3/etc) Interviews (ask companies questions on upcoming titles) and maybe other articles. As of now our current staff is busy with school and reviews, so they have no time to do interviews and editorials. If you want to start working for us, this is a good place to start. Please, serious inquiries only. If you can't write, don't bother, our editors are busy enough as it is :) If you can write the English language very well and are interested in writing please inquire within. English does not have to be your native language, only well written. You can live anywhere in the world. You must have a desire to write, and write a lot. Knowledge of computers and games is a plus.      1. We were informed that the 2nd Annual Videogames for Social Change Conference will be held October 21 and 22 at CUNY in the Heights in New York City. The international conference is hosted by Games for Change (G4C) as part of the Serious Games Initiative. Open to the public for the first time, the G4C Conference will focus on partnerships, existing games and emerging business models. Speakers include the General Manager of MTV’s college TV station (Stephen Friedman), a Senior Program Officer from the MacArthur Foundation (Connie Yowell), the CEO of the gameLab studio (Eric Zimmerman) and a representative from the United Nations’ World Food Programme (Zach Abraham).      2. AEGF, a partnership between Abandon Entertainment and GF Capital Management & Advisors, announced the acquisition of Lucky Chicken Games of Santa Monica, Calif. The studio will continue under the Lucky Chicken name and will develop games for AEGF, as well as continue to create games for other game publishers and platforms. The announcement was made by AEGF's CEO, Marcus Ticotin and Lucky Chicken's CEO, Jamie Ottilie, who will now serve as AEGF's COO.
     3. NXG Technology, LLC., a major designer, manufacturer and marketer of affordable high performance in-wall / in-ceiling speaker systems, volume controls and cables, announced that it has begun shipping their new Pro Series line of speakers. The new line of moderately priced, premium, speakers is designed specifically for the custom installation market.
