RuneScape Sets a New Record

Jagex today announced it reached 500,000 subscribers for its adventure game, RuneScape. The free game now has over 2.4 million active players. RuneScape is a browser based adventure game that can be played for free. Players can subscribe to the members version at any point for $5/month to gain access to a whole host of benefits including a map that is three times as big, over twice as many quests, whole new skills and priority customer support.
