     Writers Wanted:
     We need writers willing to do editorials (Xbox 360 vs PS3/etc) Interviews (ask companies questions on upcoming titles) and maybe other articles. As of now our current staff is busy with school and reviews, so they have no time to do interviews and editorials. If you want to start working for us, this is a good place to start. Please, serious inquiries only. If you can't write, don't bother, our editors are busy enough as it is :) If you can write the English language very well and are interested in writing please inquire within. English does not have to be your native language, only well written. You can live anywhere in the world. You must have a desire to write, and write a lot. Knowledge of computers and games is a plus.      1. Konami Digital Entertainment - America announced the launch of the company’s revamped website including, for the first time, the addition of eCommerce functionality. The website will make it convenient for people everywhere in the country to purchase Konami’s games, even those that are not as easy to find on retail shelves.      2. Voting for the 2005 Mod of the Year Competition at the ModDB has just officially kicked off. "The aim of these awards is simple, find the best mods around - released and upcoming, old or new, colorful or just text, any mod can win! Voting is open to all so this invitation is extended to you, to nominate your favorite mods because unless you want to see something shoddy win, give your fav mod the thumbs up!"      3. Dutch mobile developers and publishers Xing Mobile announced the release of 3 new arcade games. Bee Bee Bat, Wallbreaker and Jewel Fever are variations on classic arcade games for your mobile phone. Xing Mobile aim to offer 3 to 4 new titles a month starting January 2006 and the company is looking for distribution partners worldwide to place this content more effectively.      4. game&game, a new South Korean Web games portal, has been launched offering a first look at the latest Korean games for North American players. The site features brand new games from some of Korea's hottest game developers and some existing games that North American gamers haven't seen yet.      5. Aspyr Media announced that The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game for Mac has arrived in retail stores. Visit its official website for details.

Auravision, Inc., the master licensor for Fatal1ty brand products, announced today that 60 Minutes, the CBS News Magazine, will air a feature segment in January 2006 (previously scheduled for December 11, 2005) covering Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel and the international explosion of professional video gaming. Steve Kroft will report the episode, which began filming one year ago at a gaming event in Sweden, and concluded with the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) World Finals in New York City, with many stops in between. Steve Kroft also interviewed Fatal1ty at his home and training center in Kansas City, Missouri in preparation for this program.
