Electronic Arts revealed that the booster packs which replaced the second expansion pack for Battlefield 2 will be released in the upcoming months at $9.99 each (€9.99 in Europe and £5.99 in the UK). Their names are Battlefield 2: Euro Force and Battlefield 2: Armored Fury, and will be available exclusively online on February 8th and March 23rd respectively. Euro Force will offer three new maps (Operation Smoke Screen, The Great Wall of China and Taraba Quarry), seven new weapons (FNP90, Tactical Shotgun) and four new vehicles. On the other hand, Armored Fury will feature three maps (Midnight Sun, Operation Harvest and Operation Road Rage) and two new vehicle classes (Attack Jets si Recon Helicopters).
