Two very violent games topped out the top selling PC games for the week of May 26 through June 1. Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, the sequel to the controversial Soldier of Fortune, and Grand Theft Auto III, the computer version of the top-selling video game of 2001, were one and two, respectively. Not surprisingly, two Sims games were right after them. Guess people like rage and blood better than mostly tranquil simulations.
