Dedicated fans and players want to delay game for higher quality release
A group of Heroes of Might and Magic community websites today launched a collaborative effort to persuade Ubisoft executives to delay the launch of Heroes of Might and Magic 5. The game is currently scheduled for the end of this March (when Ubisoft’s fiscal year ends), and fans are saying the game will not meet the quality standards of the series. It is known that Heroes of Might and Magic 4 received poor sales in comparison to its predecessor. Heroes 5 is seen by most as a make or break game - if it fails, so will the entire Might and Magic franchise. If it succeeds, then the product line would gain the support it needs for a long term at Ubisoft. Sign the petition a href="http://www.saveheroes.org/sites/" target="_blank">here.
Update: it seems that the game has been a href="http://www.ubisoftgroup.com/resources/binary/upload//Ubisoft_CA_Q3_05-06_ENG_012606.pdf">delayed.
