As of now our current staff is busy with school and reviews, so they have no time to do interviews and editorials. If you want to start working for us, this is a good place to start. Game Trust announced that it has tapped
Brian Robbins to be its newly created Director of Games. Robbins, co-founder of the
International Game Developers Association’s (IGDA)
Casual Games Special Interest Group (SIG), is also the current Chair for the IGDA’s Online Games SIG, where he has helped to establish casual games as an industry force.

released 24 The Mobile Game, following the widely-anticipated launch of the 5th season of the hit TV series.

dSonic announced that it will demonstrate its unique adaptive audio techniques in two AAA titles at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference, March 20 - 24:
Unreal Tournament 2007 and
Mage Knight: Apocalypse.
     4. European online skill games network
GamArena signed a distribution agreement, this time with
Aftonbladet, Sweden’s largest newspaper and part of the Schibsted ASA. Under this agreement, GamArena will introduce online skill games to the Aftonbladet audience of more than 8 million monthly unique visitors.

Get-Well Gamers Foundation, a California-based public charity dedicated to bringing electronic entertainment to children in healthcare facilities,
announced a special technology fundraiser to be held at Westwood College, Anaheim, March 17-18. Sponsored by technology recycler Howard Internet Services (H.I.S.), the drive will allow computer users to dispose of unwanted equipment in a safe and environmentally conscious manner, with half of all proceeds donated to Get-Well Gamers. PCs, monitors, printers, laptops, cellphones, servers, multimedia equipment, business phone systems – essentially anything with a motherboard – will be gladly accepted at the special collection area in the school’s main parking lot.

Telcogames has
acquired exclusive rights from
Jaleco, the Japanese arcade and console games publishing house, to publish Jaleco’s 1990’s
Ninja Jajamaru Kun and
Rod-Land console blockbusters for Smartphone platforms.

Jadestone announced that the mobile game
Kodo was awarded SDSI’s “Best Independent Game of the Year” award at yesterday’s Expressen Game Awards. Kodo is a simple and fun action-puzzle game where the competitors struggle to not be eaten. Up to 8 players (on some phone sets 14!) are able to play at the same phone at the same time.

The Develop Industry Excellence Awards, the premier celebration of European games development talent, will take place on Wednesday July 12th 2006 alongside the creative sector's new conference and expo in Brighton, UK. Over 400 senior directors, investors and studio owners will mix with programmers, producers, artists and musicians on the night.
