Shacknews pointed out that there is a new patch for Project Earth, bringing the game up to version 1.10. The patch fixes a bug that wouldn't let you pause or save during missions, plus a Windows XP memory leak issue. Download here.
Instructions from the site: 1. The file will automatically begin downloading. Select to save the file to your desktop. 2. Once downloaded, install by double-clicking on the 'ProjectEarth_Patch' file to install the patch. 3. Click the 'Unzip' button, then 'OK.' This will extract the updated files into the 'Project Earth' folder 4. Close all windows and start the game. 1. The file will automatically begin downloading. Select to save the file to your desktop. 2. While the file is downloading, remove the current 'Project Earth.exe' file by performing the following. >> Click on 'START' then 'SEARCH' then 'FILES OR FOLDERS'. In the search dialog box, type in 'Project Earth.exe' and click 'SEARCH.' Once the file is found, right-click on the file and select 'DELETE' from the drop-down box. Close the 'SEARCH' window. 3. Once the file has completed its download, double-click on the 'ProjectEarth_Patch' file to install the patch. 4. Click the 'Unzip' button, then 'OK.' This will extract the updated files into the 'Project Earth' folder 5. Close all windows and start the game.
