     Writers Wanted:
     We need writers willing to do editorials (Xbox 360 vs PS3/etc) Interviews (ask companies questions on upcoming titles) and maybe other articles. As of now our current staff is busy with school and reviews, so they have no time to do interviews and editorials. If you want to start working for us, this is a good place to start. Please, serious inquiries only. If you can't write, don't bother, our editors are busy enough as it is :) If you can write the English language very well and are interested in writing please inquire within. English does not have to be your native language, only well written. You must live in USA/Canada only. You must have a desire to write, and write a lot. Knowledge of computers and games is a plus.      1. A Dutch Human Technology bachelor student is doing a research about the games industry and her target group for his training period at Team6 Games, so you can help him by paying him a visit and filling this survey.
     2. The French Minister of Culture and Communication, Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres knighted Ubisoft’s Michel Ancel, video game creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil and Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie along with director and general manager of Nintendo EAD, Shigeru Miyamoto and author Frederick Raynal as knights of arts and literature for their outstanding achievement in video games at a ceremony in France. France’s Order of Arts and Letters recognizes eminent artists and writers who have contributed significantly to furthering the arts in France and throughout the world. This is the first time that video game developers are honored this distinction.
     3. Nokia, the Platinum sponsor of GDC Mobile, announcedGregg Sauter, Director of Games Publishing, Nokia, will make a mobile games platform speech at the GDC Mobile sponsored lunch keynote session on Monday 20th March at 1.00pm, at the Fairmont Hotel, Main Ballroom – The Regency 1 & 2, San José, California. Titled ‘The Next Generation of Mobile Gaming’, the 20 minute presentation will reveal how Nokia’s next generation and SNAP Mobile gaming platforms will provide market defining solutions to the key issues and challenges faced by developers, operators and publishers today.
     4. On September 5, Classic Media will release the complete, uncut, Japanese original, Gojira (Godzilla), on DVD for the first time ever in the US. From legendary Japanese filmmaker Ishiro Honda, Gojira quickly became a monster classic. Gojira will only be available as part of a special DVD 2-pack that also includes the re-edited US version, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, starring Raymond Burr. Both versions have been digitally remastered in HD. The Gojira/Godzilla: King of the Monsters DVD 2-pack stomps onto retail shelves late summer for $21.98 SRP.

     6. GarageGames announced a partnership with premiere scientific book publisher A K Peters. Together, the two companies will produce and distribute books for game developers worldwide. The first book that will be published under this partnership is The Game Programmer's Guide to Torque, a primer on how to make games using GarageGames' proprietary Torque Game Engine.
     7. Bango and July Systems have signed a partnership by which July Systems' retailing solutions combined with Bango's browse and buy payment technology will allow content providers to create sophisticated mobile 'stores' that they can market and promote directly to mobile users on any mobile network, anywhere in the world.
     8. Gameswelt.de posted a Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars preview.
     9. VoodooPC introduced the Voodoo OMEN Quad SLI Personal Computer, featuring four NVIDIA GeForce graphics processing units (GPUs), a dual-core AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 processor, and Voodoo’s F5 Liquid Cooling System with Silent Phase radial fans.
     10. Nival Interactive, Inc. announced it has established its global headquarters in the United States and recruited an executive management team comprised of American video game industry professionals, including Kevin Bachus, co-creator of Microsoft’s Xbox, as chief executive officer.
