Ncsoft Europe announced a Auto Assault weekend of open beta. Everybody will be able to test out the game between 18:00GMT Friday 17th March and 23:59GMT on Monday 20th March. Once the event has finished, only those who have preordered Auto Assault will be able to take part in the final stage of testing for the game before launch. They will also enjoy an in-game weapon exclusive to Europe (The Railgun), a loot bonus and access to the head start period, allowing them to play the finished game days before official release. Tripwire Interactive and Bold Games announced that Red Orchastra: Ostfront 41-45 has been shipped and will be available in retail stores across North America around this time. A standalone follow-up of Red Orchestra mod, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 lets players choose from 28 infantry weapons or crew one of 14 different fully-realized vehicles on the Russian Front between 1941-45. Bethesda Softworks released three new screenshots from their upcoming Xbox 360 game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. As well as in Morrowind, players will have the option to experience the main quest at their own pace, and there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the vast world and make their own way. Numerous factions can be joined, such as the thieves or mages guilds, and each contains its own complete storyline and the chance to rise to the head of the faction and reap further rewards. Electronic Arts announced that Battlefield 2 Euro Force is finally available for £5.99. Battlefield 2: Euro Force offers three new maps (Operation Smoke Screen, The Great Wall of China and Taraba Quarry), seven new weapons (FNP90, Tactical Shotgun) and four new vehicles. Sony Computer Entertainment announced that the PlayStation 3 will indeed be released worldwide early November of this year. The console will get a 60GB hard drive, the next generation HDMI and will be backwards compatible with all PS1 and PS2 titles, playing them at a higher resolution than the original hardware. In the PSP area, they announced a brand new offer of 199EUR/USD for the hardware, an Eye-Toy like camera, a PlayStation 1 emulator and a GPS module to come with the next version of firmware, due this Spring. Ubisoft released a new batch of in-game screenshots from Paradis, the upcoming adventure game by White Birds Productions. Paradise is a 'point and click' adventure for casual gamers, which promises an amazing storyline, exquisite art direction and a realistic fantasy universe. Set in the heart of Africa, puzzles are combined with action gameplay, as a young woman crosses the continent to take a leopard back to Kilimanjaro, the place of his birth, encountering fabulous, unknown animals in the wilderness on the way. Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for the Xbox 360 platform achieved record sales for its first week of launch. Over 240.000 units in North America and 120.000 across Europe in just 3 days. The title was the fastest selling Xbox 360 game ever in France, Germany and the United Kingdom positioning itself as the N°1 title in all these countries.
