Microsoft Game Studios Acquires Lionhead Studios
Lionhead’s hit franchise Fable surpasses 2 million unit sales milestone
Microsoft Game Studios today announced it has purchased U.K.-based Lionhead Studios, the developers of Black and White 2 (PC), Fable (Xbox) and Fable: The Lost Chapters (Xbox/PC). Lionhead Studios becomes the latest member of MGS, joining other game creators as Bungie Studios, Ensemble Studios, FASA Studio and Rare Ltd.
