Darkworks today announced that it has granted an option for the motion picture rights of its 2005 action-horror game Cold Fear to production houses Avatar Films and Sekretagent Productions. Avatar Films is a NYC-based independent film distribution company specialized in arthouse films and documentaries and by the looks of it, Cold Fear the motion picture is on really professional hands. We can only hope they will enjoy the same success as Ubisoft did with the distribution of the game. There is no release date or any other details present in the press release, but we'll probably hear more soon.
