Astronoid.net is a mix between Wipeout and X-Wing vs Tie Fighter. It’s a fast and intense galactic shoot & race multiplayer online game with an unequalled connectivity, which, after some simple arcade-like fun at the beginning, unveils a depth as impressive as the top racing simulations. The objective is simple: pass a series of portals insuccession. Frag opponents that get in your way. Shields, lasers, and mines are there to help you. The winner is the one who is the first to cross the finish line. Astronoid uses a very innovative P2P technology permiting to add 5000 users CPU’s and bandwith capacity, creating a sort of “huge computer”. The updated client includes a new planet, with a "mushroom city" on it, two new tracks, "mushroom city" (free beginner track) and "psychedelic dream" (only champion federation).
