Microsoft has launched the official site for their upcoming air combat game, Combat Flight Simulator 3. The site offers an intro video from the game, information on the planes that will appear in the game, screenshots, and more. Combat Flight Simulator 3 is scheduled for this Fall.
Combat Flight Simulator 3 is the most detailed and immersive World War II PC combat flight simulation ever, letting you experience what it is really like to be a WWII combat pilot over Europe. Set in Europe from 1943 to the end of the war, players can enlist and fly for the US Army Air Force, the RAF, or the Luftwaffe. With an emphasis on tactical air power, many of your missions will focus on Air Superiority, Close Air Support, and Tactical Bombing. Feel the adrenalin rush as you start strafing enemy positions at 350 mph, 600 feet above the European countryside, guns blazing and bombs blasting. In Combat Flight Simulator 3 (CFS3) you can fly for the USAF, RAF, or the Luftwaffe in some of the most advanced and exotic aircraft of WWII. The player also makes decisions that influence how the war is fought, where to put the pressure on the enemy, and what aircraft improvements are crucial to the war effort.
