Free to roam savagely in an ever-expanding universe of stars, planets and alien pirates
Romanian independent developer 2 Bad Design announced they are accepting applications for the upcoming open beta test for their upcoming 3D space simulator Romanians In Space. The playtesters will be provided with a release candidate version of the game, and are free to submit improvements that may or may not be included in the game. The missions from the game will include insurgency into unknown systems, defense of home planets, low-orbit maneuvers and high-orbit patrol. You will be piloting several fighter-class ships as well as taking control of some heavily armed destroyers. Romanians In Space features a re-designed game engine, supporting dynamic lighting, full anti-aliasing, pixel shader technology, high resolution textures (4k x 4k) and detailed models. Romanians In Space will be released in September/October 2006 on the PC.
