Samsung Electronics America today announced a renewal to the sponsorship of the US leg of the World Cyber Games tournament and festival for the fifth straight year, making it one of the longest-standing sponsors of e-Sports tournaments in the United States. The 2006 WCG roster of Official Games consist of six PC games and 2 console games including: StarCraft: Brood War, WarCraft: Frozen Throne, Half-Life: Counter-Strike 1.6, Warhammer 40,000: Winter Assault, FIFA Soccer 06, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Dead or Alive 4 (Xbox 360) and Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360). The Grand Final will be held in Monza, Italy, this October.
