New concept art from The Forgotten have been added in our gallery, showcasing this upcoming Half Life 2 horror-survival modification. The story centers on a group of six individuals found each other after an outbreak of a deadly virus, which turned the living into the walking dead. The group of people relies a lot on each other, as each person has a unique value to the team, which could certify their survival. Only fitted with a limited amount of ammo, one gun and a desperate need for wit and a clear head, they are pitted against a horde of zombies and undead in a last attempt to escape the virus and find protection with other survivors of humanity. In order to complete each map, the players will need to accomplish certain tasks, some more challenging than others, some impossible without the use of some brainpower. The goal is to reach safety, whether it is a house, a hut, a hospital or perhaps even other survivors of humanity. Besides needing to find keys to unlock new areas, weapons to defend oneself, or to call for help via a radio, the players are also pitted against a range of zombies that will not stop coming for them, until they are nothing more but a walking piece of flesh.
