CDV today announced that Darkstar One, the 3D space-sim developed by Ascaron, has been approved for manufacturing and will hit the store shelves across the US on August 14th. In the game you will play Kayron Jarvis, a young fighter pilot whose life will take an unexpected turn during the course of events. The game features over two hundred different weapons, shields and equipment items, as well as a vast, simulated universe with numerous, completely different races, space ships and battle tactics.
