Announcing their half year 2006 financial results, Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. revealed that Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales will be available at retail on September 1, 2006 in Europe and September 5, 2006 in the US and Canada. Powered by the next generation engine STORM 2.5, Age of Pirates will feature 16 colonized islands, a completely open ended gameplay with a goal to achieve (gather all colonies under his hand), improved naval ship tactics and four different multiplayer modes: Free for All, Naval Battle, Sink the Convoy and Capture the Fort.
