After last week's demo delay announcement (story), Techland today announced that their FPS, Chrome, is "close to a beta version, which should be reached in one month and a half." To 'prove' this, the Polish company kindly sent us 6 new screenshots (17-22 in our gallery) taken from the gameplay and showing features such as "intense action, dense vegetation and beautiful and realistic scenery".
Chrome demo is postponed, but the game progress speeds up Wroclaw, Poland ? 2002-07-29 ? Techland announced last week on the www.chromethegame.com that the single player demo of its upcoming title will not be released at this point. Techland decided to focus on finishing Chrome ? the biggest Polish game production. The game is close to a beta version, which should be reached in 1.5 month. The work on the missions, game logic and graphics accelerates as the team is increasingly motivated by the upcoming deadline. As if to prove the above Techland provides 6 hot new screenshots. These were taken from the gameplay and show such features as: intense action, dense vegetation and beautiful and realistic scenery, all of which are normal features of Chrome. The already impressive graphics are still going to be improved as the Chrome Engine is still being extended to enable even more powerful effects to be displayed.
