2K Games today announced they will publish Jade Empire: Special Edition for the PC. This version will additionally include support for game-pads and keyboard/mouse, increased graphics resolutions and new visual effects, new monsters, enemies and fighting styles, improved combat AI and difficulty levels, as well as a new world map interface. Release is scheduled for January 2007 - new screenshots have been inserted in our gallery.
