Guild Wars Factions Nominated For BAFTA

NCsoft Europe's subscription-free online game is contender for best multiplayer game award
NCsoft Europe today confirmed that Guild Wars Factions, the popular mission-based competitive online RPG developed by ArenaNet, has been nominated in this year’s BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) awards in the Multiplayer category. The Guild Wars franchise has sold more than two million copies worldwide, and recently become a massively popular e-sport, attracting tens of thousands of competing players from all around the world. This year alone has seen two global tournaments, the Guild Wars World Championship and Factions™ World Championship, netting winning guilds a share of more than $US200,000 prize money. The next campaign in the series, Guild Wars Nightfall, will hit the store shelves on 27th October.
