Fall 1942. The 3rd Reich is at the height of its power. One town, only one, is still separating Hitler from total victory in Europe. This town takes on symbolic importance at the Führer’s view. It holds the name of his last opponent on the continent : Stalingrad. If only it falls and the war’ll be won. In the martyred city crushed by bombs, a young russian is thrown, just like thousand others, into the hell of this battle and is quickly becoming the most feared sniper master by german troops. Based upon the achievements of this young russian sniper, Stalingrad is a FPS following the historical course of the famous battle, WWII’s turning point. The player must accomplish original and various missions, helped by bots or a friend in an unique cooperative mode. Each player makes his own character, evolving thanks to a XP system. He can improve his skills as his experience raises. With an original gameplay peculiar to urban environment and to the actual battle’s period, Stalingrad gives the faithful atmosphere of this battle which conclusion has changed forever the 20th century.
