The patch has copy protection - you need a Galactic Civilizations II serial number to install it
Stardock has issued a new patch for Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords, bringing their very popular sequel to v1.4. The patch updates some of the graphics and tweaks the balance of planetary improvements based on player feedback (press 'read more' for changelog).
