Users should refrain from using alt/tab to return to the Windows desktop, this can cause the demo to become unstable. Should users wish to return to the desktop we recommend that they quit out of the demo via the pause menu. This demo requires the latest version of DirectX. The demo will fail to run on systems running older versions of DirectX. The latest version of DirectX is available from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/directx Currently the demo does not support the saving of in-game options when it is running on Windows 98 systems. Running Audio playback software in the background may make the Game sounds become corrupted. It is therefore recommended that all other applications are closed before running Race Driver.
