Steam WWII Week Starts Today

Valve announced World War II Week, a special weeklong promotion that kicks off with the release of Activision and Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Warchest, a compilation which includes Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2 all for a regular price of $49.95 - during WWII Week, CoD: Warchest will be offered for 10% less than the regular price. Also, the second Free Weekend trial of Red Orchestra started at 1:00 pm PST Thursday December 7, and will come home at 1:00 pm PST Sunday December 10. No purchase is required to enlist in the Free Weekend. In addition to the Free Weekend, Tripwire is now offering RO for just $19.95. And those who purchase Red Orchestra before December 14, 2006 will receive an additional 10% savings. Finally, Valve is offering 20% off Day of Defeat: Source for those who purchase before December 14, 2006.
