The Nintendo Wii console is today available in the UK. The Nintendo Wii sales from the US and Japanese markets combined surpass one million units, with the console sold out in just a few hours. On top of that, Nintendo sold 55% of all video game systems in November, according to independent sales reports from the NPD Group. The major Wii title The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess achieved sales of 412,000, representing 87% of all Wii hardware buyers. In the UK, the Wii console sells for £179, while software is priced between £34 to £39. Included with every Wii console is one wireless Wii Remote, a Nunchuk, the Wii Sports game, a stereo AV Cable and the sensor bar for Wii’s control system.
