As the name suggests, Synergy is a cooperative Half-Life 2 mod. where the main objective is to complete the given objectives for each level: Escape, Assault, Defend, etc. You work together as a team to finish the level. However, Synergy also supports Deathmatch and Teamplay (Combine vs. Rebels), and you can use NPCs in any level, even if it's Deathmatch.
