Codemasters has announced that Maelstrom, the sci-fi RTS title developed by KDV Games (previously known as K-D LAB, producers of Perimeter), has shipped to retail stores across the UK. Maelstrom takes place on a devastated future Earth where, in the wake of an apocalyptic ecological disaster, the planet is threatened by an alien invasion. A playable demo can be found here.
