     1. Jason Michael Paul Productions, Inc. has announced that the city of Fort Worth will be the next confirmed stop on the world tour of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony. To be performed at 8 p.m., Saturday, January 19 2008 at Bass Performance Hall, the concert features orchestral music from popular video game titles including Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, The Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., World Of Warcraft, Sonic The Hedgehog and Shenmue. Futuremark Corporation has announced the release of world's first benchmark for devices with Khronos OpenGL ES 2.0 programmable mobile graphics API. 3DMark Mobile ES 2.0 has been developed in co-operation with members of Futuremark's Handheld Benchmark Development Program (BDP), an organization comprised of the industry's most influential technology developers, semiconductor companies, device manufacturers and vendors.
     3. THQ Wireless and Empire Interactive have teamed up to produce 80’s craze Pipemania on mobile networks worldwide. In Pipemania, you have to connect the randomly presented pipes to create a path for the surging sewer slime.      4. Abandon Mobile and CDC Games announced a joint venture for the upcoming multi-platform, multiplayer game, Freaky Creatures, the first community-based game of its kind to combine user-created content, strategy, simulation and popular trading card game elements. As part of the joint venture, CDC Games will market and distribute Freaky Creatures in China and Southeast Asia, including India and Vietnam, while Abandon Mobile will market and distribute the game in North America and Europe.
