Battlefront.com and 1C Company today confirmed that Theatre of War will feature a mission editor which will allow players to create their own missions (both single player and multiplayer for up to 8 players) and even campaigns using any of the available huge 30+ battlefield maps. In Theatre of War players will command hundreds of different unit types in 5 historically accurate campaigns (US, UK, Soviet, German, French and Polish). The game features real time combat simulation: realistic shell ballistics, armor penetration calculations and damage effects coupled with destructible environments, trenches, fortifications and individually tracked weapons, equipment, ammo and vehicles. Theatre of War will hit the store shelves soon.
